 David’s musical career was launched at 19 years old when he caught the attention of other touring musicians, leading to his first extended professional gig at the Tulsa Hilton Hotel Copa with Los Angeles based singer, Karen Blackwood.  From there, he went on to tour with, Country Music Hall of Fame member Roy Clark; and perform with GMA Dove Award recipients Phillips, Craig and Dean; First Call; NewSong; and Larnel Harris; as well as jazz legends Pat Methany and Clark Terry. David is also a founding member of The Pic & Bow (Kansas City based Acoustic Guitar/Violin/Vocal Duo).

 David stays open to musical growth and enjoys a wide range of performance opportunities in pop, jazz, country, classical, and sacred music.  After teaching guitar for almost 20 years with MidAmerica Nazarene University and Kansas City Kansas Community College, he now teaches in his personal studio. 

David and his wife are very active with their home church family ministry; while their three adult sons serve in diverse ministries nationwide.
